Nov. 15-16
Yara-Ma-Yha-Who, from Australian Aboriginals. It is a sort of boogeyman, it hides in trees and waits until a child walks past to suck their blood with it's tentacle fingertips enough to make the child weak. it leaves the child alone for awhile, then eats them. It later regurgitates the child, but the child becomes slightly smaller and more red. It is said that children that this happen to multiple times become Yara-Ma-Yha-Who's.
This is the main character for a story that Kevin and I are working on. In the story she starts off at age 11 or 12, but we plan to age her as the story goes on. This is what she'll look like when she's a young woman.
Nov. 8-14
Crash Bandicoot
Kevin and I had Brandon over, so I just drew us.
We had a power outage, so I put on a buncha candles.
This is a brownie from old Scottish folklore/mythology. They are said to secretly clean the house while you are sleeping.
Medusa. She is not as evil as many portray her to be. in fact, in ancient greece, it is said that her face was carved above many womens shelters as a sign of strength!
Yggdrasil, from Norse Mythology. It is a holy Ash tree that connects the 9 worlds... I took some artistic liberties with it...
Kuchisake-onna, from Japanese lore. Her mouth was slit by her husband for her being unfaithful to him. He told her "there, now no one will think you are beautiful". Her ghost asks children, her mouth covered, if they think she is beautiful. if they say yes, she reveals her face and screams "DO YOU THINK I'M BEAUTIFUL NOW?!" and if they say no, she kills them, and if they say yes, she slits their mouth as hers is. You can confuse her by saying "you're average", or you can give her an amber candy and she will let you go.

I was thinking for the new week, if anyone wanted to do the theme of Mythology. Arabian, Armenian, Celtic, Chinese, Christian, Egyptian, Greek, Islamic, Japanese, Jewish, Maya, Mesopotamian, Norse, Roman, Romanian, Slavic... Whichever you feel like, mix and match, I don't care. But yeah, you guys wanna do this??

November 3-7
Sorry, I was too lazy to scan for the past little while. Today's one is not included, cause I haven't done it yet.

Professor Layton from the Professor Layton Games
King K. Rool from Donkey Kong.
K, so this is supposed to be Ariel combing Rapunzels hair with a fork, but I got lazy and gave up. (Kevin told me weekends were free-for-alls or do whatever you want days)
